Heating systems are usually built around a single liquid. When a plant wants to move from water to oil, or a second fluid enters the line, a second system is normally needed.
In greenXform the heat is created inside the liquid itself, so the technology does not change with the fluid. The only thing that changes is how hot that liquid can safely go.
Maximum temperature by liquid
The outlet temperature the unit can deliver depends on the limits of the fluid itself:
- Water — up to 95 °C.
- Vegetable oil — up to 275 °C.
- Thermal oil — up to 400 °C.
Food-grade liquids
Food-grade liquids such as water and milk are heated with the same unit. The liquid never touches a flame, combustion products or a glowing surface, so the heating process does not break down the structure of the product.
This is one reason dairy and beverage plants come to greenXform. A large part of our references are from the water and beverage sector.
So which one should you choose?
The choice has less to do with the liquid than with how hot you need it. For any job that stays below 95 °C, water is enough; above that, the system moves to vegetable or thermal oil.
We can work out together which model suits your volume and temperature range. The calculator on the industrial page also lets you see the heating time and the energy used yourself.
